A man was placed under house arrest with electronic bracelet in Crotone, accused of persecutory acts and injuries against his ex -wife’s previous partner.
Complaints and attacks
The provision arose from the victim’s complaint, which said he was repeatedly threatened and attacked by the suspect. According to what emerged, the man did not accept the harmony that his former partner had maintained with the former partner in the management of children, transforming the grudge into violent and persecutory behavior. The victim, exasperated, had been forced to modify her life habits for fear of new aggressions.
The intervention of the mobile team
The Crotone mobile team, activating the red code procedure, has reconstructed a series of episodes of violence and threats, also through telematic tools. The investigations brought the Public Prosecutor’s Office, led by Domenico Guarascio, to request a precautionary measure then accepted by the investigating judge and immediately performed.
The man is now under house arrest. Its position remains under consideration by the judicial authority: it is to be considered innocent until possible definitive sentence of conviction.
