Moments of panic on the beach of Torretta di Crucoli. A man residing in the Torretta hamlet was electrocuted while dragging the dry boat using the electric winch. Despite the shock, the man is alive and seems to have brought burns to the hand and sore in the arm. According to the first reconstructions, the man was moving the boat when, for reasons still in the assessment phase, he would accidentally touch the steel cable that was rewinding. The discharge hit him causing the burns to the hand. People at the sea and passers -by immediately alerted 112. The rescue came promptly with the ambulance health workers and the helicopter rescue that landed in the ground adjacent to the “106” state road where he waited for the ambulance to arrive with the patient inside. Fortunately, given the non -serious conditions, the helicopter rescue returned to the base of Cirò Marina shortly after while the man was transported to the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Crotone to receive the necessary treatments. The carabinieri of the local station led by Marshal Pasquale Ciambrone intervened on the spot.
