Denmark: Droni in the airspace, the Aalborg airport closed

Aalborg Airport was closed due to drone detection in its airspace. This was reported by the police, cited by Sky News.

Following the accident, the flights coming and departing from Aalborg airport have been blocked, reports Sky News. In an X post, the Nordjyllands police said that “drones have been observed near Aalborg airport and the airspace is closed. The police are present and is investigating”.

Aalborg is located in the north, in the Jutland region, and is the fourth city of Denmark by population. His airport is the second of the country to have been forced to close in a few days because of the UAVs: Monday, the Copenhagen airport temporarily interrupted the operations following the reports of drones in flight in his airspace. On that occasion, the Danish premier puts Frederiksen said he “not to be able to exclude” Russia’s involvement behind drones of drones.
