The strong earthquake that affected Eastern Afghanistan yesterday killed at least 250 people and wounds at least 500, according to the authorities mentioned by the AP on its website, while the emergency teams struggle to carry on the rescue in the areas remained isolated for the earthquake.
The magnitude 6 earthquake hit a series of cities last night in the province of Kunar, near the city of Jalalabad.
The authority for the management of Kunar disasters declared in a statement that at least 250 people died and 500 other were injured in the districts of Nur Gul, Soki, Watpur, Manogi and Chapadare.
