A goal achieved in record time by Domenico Merlino, a young man from Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto who, at just 19 years old, became a full professor. News that highlights an exceptional result for the Messina area.
Merlino brilliantly passed the selections for the B016 competition class, dedicated to technical-practical teachers of computer science and technology laboratories. Participating for Veneto, he obtained very high scores: 92 in the written test and 96 in the oral, ranking second among the 15 regional winners in his category.
The young teacher has already started working at the ITET Pasini in Schio, in the province of Vicenza. His path was remarkably rapid also thanks to an accelerated school career: Merlino graduated in just four years from the “Ettore Majorana” Technical Institute of Milazzo, IT major, with a grade of 100.
The insolvency procedure was started when he had not yet turned 19 and was successfully concluded just three months after his birthday, crowning an extraordinary journey.
The “Ettore Majorana” Institute also hailed the result, celebrating the former student on social media with a long post full of enthusiasm, defining his achievement as “a result that makes history”. The school has proudly claimed the educational role played over the years, underlining how Merlino’s path was born in an environment capable of enhancing talents and accompanying them towards ambitious goals.
