More than in Eboli, the renewal in the Calabrian Democratic Party seems to have stopped once again in Laino Borgo. The process that seemed to have set in motion in the province of Cosenza with the election of the provincial secretary Matteo Lettieri undergoes a significant setback. In the game of vetoes and controversial, the weight of the currents and personalities for too long on the crest of the wave prevail once again. More than one assures that the closing of the lists – marked by the step back of the outgoing group leader Mimmo Bevacqua – was endorsed by the leaders of the Nazarene and, in particular, by Igor Taruffi, delegate of Elly Schlein for the territorial events.
