“The proposal of my name as a candidate for mayor of the city of Crotone, represents an aspect of a much wider project”. Sergio Torromino has left all the reticence of the past few months behind and is ready to run as a candidate for mayor in the spring of next year. A stance that must have displaced more than an ally. And so in the midst of the election campaign for the regional elections of 5 and 6 October, the election campaign for the municipalities of 2026 has already started in Crotone. A first candidate had been there for some time and it is the current mayor Vincenzo Voce, but for a few days “we moderates”, a party that has been approached by Torromino for a short time, wanted to launch a challenge to the entire center -right, proposing the former parliamentarian of Forza Italia.
