L’ENS and FSSI Calabria welcomed at the airport Lamezia Terme (Catanzaro) the blue athlete Naomi Canino, returning from the 6th World Deaf Swimming Championship 2023 which was held in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The World Swimming Championships ended beyond the wildest expectations, with Italy in third place in the final medal table at ’19’ with 6 golds, 8 silvers and 5 bronzes. The performance of the Catanzaro player was also exceptional Naomi Canino who, after the brilliant results achieved at last year’s Deaflympics, this time at the World Championships won 2 golds and 4 silvers, obtaining a great result and receiving compliments from all those who, even from afar, were able to follow the races with palpitation of blue athletes. Now all that remains is to celebrate these successes and then immediately get to work in view of the next commitments: the European Championships and then the Deaflympics in Tokyo in 2025. Go FSSI!
