Restrictions of 12 arrivals per hour at Catania international airport until 10.30pm this evening: this is what was decided by the Operational Coordination Unit (NCO) for Catania airport, in consideration of the red Vona issued by INGV for the activity at the summit craters of Etna, the wind projections and the impossibility of acquiring elements through direct or reported visual observation during the night hours.

After 10.30pm we drop to five arrivals

After 10.30pm and until 10.30am tomorrow arrivals will drop to 5 per hour. Updates will be adopted by the Nco, which will meet again tomorrow at 6. The document is published by Sicily in flight.
