The EU and the United States agreed the joint declaration on the duties after the political agreement reached by President Ursula von der Leyen and President Donald Trump of 27 July. The Commission announced it.
“The joint declaration illustrates in detail the new US tariff regime against the EU, with a maximum and all -inclusive rate rate of 15% for the vast majority of EU exports, including strategic sectors such as cars, pharmaceutical products, semiconductors and timber”.
