Mini-adjustments still upward for fuel prices. Based on the latest data collected by the Mimit Observatory on fuel prices, today – Sunday 6 September 2026 – the average price of self-service fuel along the national road network is equal to 2.053 euros per liter for petrol and 2.165 euros per liter for diesel (yesterday the prices were equal to 2.052 euros and 2.164 euros respectively). On the motorway network, however, the average self-service price is 2.139 euros per liter for petrol and 2.238 euros per liter for diesel (yesterday 2.138 euros and 2.237 euros respectively).
