A spectral landscape with hundreds and hundreds of hectares of forest and undergrowth gone to ashes. On the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza after almost two days of fires there are countries on their knees, with exhausted populations. The most alarming situations occurred in Fiumefreddo Bruzio and Cetraro.
In Fiumefreddo the hill that climbs the village to the town went on fire: one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Three fires started from different points have surrounded the historic center.
