The activity of contrasting violence against women and in the family field by the Carabinieri and the Prosecutor of Castrovillari continues unabated. The last intervention dates back to last Monday, when the soldiers of the Lungro station arrested an alleged violent husband in Furo (CS).
The reporting of his wife has made it possible to reconstruct a series of alleged previous abuse in the family, culminating with a physical aggression that occurred in front of the minor children and documented by a video recorded with a cell phone.
The woman and children were addressed to the anti -violence centers present in the area, while the man, in consideration of the elements collected and under the coordination of the Castrovillari prosecutor’s office, was arrested in the act for mistreatment in the family and translated into prison, pending the determinations of the judicial authority. The suspect must be considered alleged innocent until definitive sentence.
