Food safety, NAS checks in Tropea: a restaurant closed

A bar-restaurant and sandwich shop was closed in Tropea, the main Calabrian tourist resort, following a series of inspections and checks made by the Nas carabinieri. In particular, it emerged that the owner of the activity operated with a cooking workshop without the necessary authorizations, lacking the license for the preparation of food. The use of a single bathroom for customers and employees was then found, with consequent violations of the discipline that regulates the hygiene rules and the registration of operators in the food sector. Hence the immediate closure of the restaurant since the situation is not regularized. The restaurant owner was referred to the Vibo Valentia prosecutor.
