The resignation was inevitable after the appointment as head of Mayor Murone’s staff structure: Salvatore De Biase is in fact leaving the leadership of Forza Italia in the city and in his place, as commissioner, there will be regional councilor Emanuele Ionà. The announcement took place during a press conference which took place at the party headquarters, in the presence of the deputy regional coordinator Ionà, the provincial coordinator Marco Polimeni and the youth secretary Giovanni Scaramuzzino. Everyone expressed profound gratitude for De Biase’s work, recalling how in 2023 “the party found itself in a critical condition, without a headquarters and a structured ruling class, a situation radically transformed thanks to three years of dedication and sacrifice which led to flattering electoral results and the entry of as many as 32 new young militants”.
