Moving between the two main urban areas of the province of Cosenza has become an economic and logistical obstacle course. Yet the connection between the capital and the third largest city in Calabria should be favored and not hindered. There is no direct train. Even if the works on the Ionian Sea were finished, we would still have to get to Sibari and then change. Thus, discontent among the hundreds of university students, commuter workers and citizens who every day rely on public road transport to travel along the Corigliano Rossano-Cosenza-Rende (Unical) axis is growing day by day, as is the cost of tickets and petrol. A mobility which, according to user complaints, is progressively ceasing to be an accessible public service and turning into an expensive and inefficient luxury. And with the blow of price increases, traveling is a luxury.
