“Over 64 million euros of new resources will strengthen investments in Calabria for the promotion of sustainable and quality employment”. This was stated in a statement in a note the Undersecretary of the Prime Minister, Alessandro Morellion the sidelines of today’s session of the Cipess who, among other things, approved the modification of the complementary operational program of the Calabria Region.
“With the decision taken today by the Cipess – adds the Undersecretary – the equipment of the complementary operational program of Calabria comes to overcome the billion euros. The new resources will serve to strengthen the impact of active regional work policies, through the support for the job placement of subjects in disadvantage, the promotion of the quality of employment, the enhancement of employment services and the strengthening of the offer of active policy courses. In particular, the use of resources will allow to intervene in a targeted way in support of a wide range of adult population, already involved in paths of social utility and inclusion, to guarantee continuity to initiatives that, over time, have represented an effective response to work marginality and forced inactivity “.
“The new resources allocated for the complementary program of Calabria – Morelli says – will help to give impulse to economic and social development in the regional territory, in line with the commitment of the Cipess and the whole government to promote strategic territorial investments, for the benefit of the competitiveness of the territories and the economic and social cohesion of the country”.
