The price of diesel on the motorway returns to the levels of last August 4th, the day on which the Council of Ministers issued the latest excise decree and extended until August 25th the 17 cents per liter cut in taxes on diesel fuel, already in force since July 28th.
Based on the latest data from the Mimit Observatory on fuel prices, today on the motorway the average price of diesel is 2.173 euros per liter (compared to 2.170 euros yesterday and 2.173 euros on 4 August) and for self-service petrol it is 2.073 euros (yesterday 2.071). On the national road network the average price of fuel in “self service” mode is 1.994 euros for petrol (1.992 euros yesterday) and 2.099 euros for diesel (against 2.093 yesterday and 2.100 euros on 4 August).
