A regional express train of the Deutsche Bahn with about 100 passengers on board is derail In the German district of Bibarach (Baden-Wurttemberg): Schwaebische Zeitung reports would be death at least people and numerous those remained injured.

According to Bild, the railway accident occurred around 6:10 pm near Zwiefalentendorf, in the Bibarach district. A spokesman for the Federal Police of Stuttgart said that “two wagons of the Deutsche Bahn regional express train are derailed”.

The rescuers had to travel a long distance to reach the place of the accident, in the thick of a forest. At 19:30, a large contingent of policemen, firefighters and rescuers is on the route, committed to helping the wounded.

The origin of the derailment is not yet clear, if a tree finished on the tracks or if for a failure triggered by the storm that was in progress.
