The photographic exhibition created by Francesca Papaianni and Giuseppe Monteleone, scheduled from 19 to 21 August at the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Gerocarne, is entitled.
The exhibition, promoted and organized by the Proverocarnese 22001APS/ETS Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Gerocarne, is a real emotional journey: a visual narrative that explores the inner world through the gaze of children, mirrors of a universal humanity.
The project is based on the strength of the portrait and on the authentic relationship between photographer and subject. The images, without captions, invite the visitor to an intimate dialogue with the child within themselves, leaving room for personal reflections and emotional interpretations. The photographs – marked by the “color” of emotions – evoke joy, anger, surprise, melancholy, confusion and desire for connection.
“Growing up … it’s all that happens while growing up” – the authors write – and every shot becomes a piece of this path, from light -heartedness in search of oneself.
An exhibition that is not only looked at: you cross. And perhaps, it remembers.
