During the night, the carabinieri of the radio section of the Territorial Department of Corigliano Rossano, with the investigative coordination of the Public Prosecutor of Castrovillari, directed by the chief prosecutor Alessandro D’Alessio, arrested a 45 -year -old of the place in the almost flagrance of the crime, deemed seriously suspended of “attempted theft in the home”.
The targeted family did not hesitate to call the carabinieri as soon as the members, in the middle of the night, perceived that someone was trying to enter their home. In the circumstance the victims understood that through an instrument, then proved to be a large kitchen knife, a potential malfactor was forcing one of the windows of the home.
The intervention of the military was almost immediate, so much so that the manager of the facts was traced not far from the home, still in possession of the knife he had used just before to try to open the window. A further confirmation of the responsibilities potentially attributable to the aforementioned emerged from the control of the images of the home video surveillance system. A comparison that confirmed the correspondence of some elements that have been considered perfectly superimposable.
On the basis of the acquisitions described the subject – which was found to have police records of the same nature – was arrested and subjected to house arrest, pending the assessments of the competent bodies of the judiciary.
