Hidden weapons in the bidons underground: the arsenal in the hands of the Platì clans

During the investigation “Pratì” the investigators of the Reggio Calabria mobile team intercepted several conversations from which it emerges that some of the suspects were holders of functional weapons to increase the intimidating force of the respective family teams. In fact, it emerged that one of the suspects near the Trimboli family told of some passages of weapons that took place in the Piedmontese municipality of Volpiano, as well as the possession of weapons that they hid in Platì in bins hidden in holes, to avoid making them find from the police. In this context, a fact of particular historical interest came out, determined by the possession of a Luger gun belonging to a German Second World War Officer, with a design of an eagle carved on the handle.
