Home is support up to € 600 per month for a year to those in economic difficulty in the city. This is the last measure presented by the Municipality of Messina as part of the support for housing discomfort. Next Monday from 10.30 the digital platform will be open to which the application can be submitted to obtain the contribution that will be paid according to the different brackets of ISEE income. For the one from zero to € 3000, a support of € 480 is provided for the monthly rent and € 120 for domestic users. The rental contract must be regularly recorded and can be in the valley or to be defined at a later time with the Municipality that will anticipate the first three months. The ranking will be drawn up on the basis of the chronological order of presentation of the requests. The total allocation is 1 million and a half euros.
The project deals with the theme of living fragile people who support or seek a rent on the private market but encounter difficulties in supporting lease fees and too onerous utilities compared to their economic situation. The initiative intends to provide concrete support to guarantee the right to the home and encourage the housing stability of the most vulnerable nuclei. During the meeting, all the details of the action will be illustrated, with particular attention to financial support for the rent and for domestic users.
