The soldiers of the Army of the Company of Taurianova, who started the investigations immediately after the complaints presented by the parish priests, analyzed the images of the video surveillance systems installed in the places of worship, precisely reconstructing the movements of the man and connecting it to several episodes, also obtaining decisive elements for its identification.
Among the contested cases, the theft in the parish of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul stands out, where sacred objects had been removed, including pissids containing consecrated hosts, gesture that had caused profound disdain in the local community.
