In Messina and Sicily the elections are still far away, just under two years before the long and double electoral session of 2027. This does not mean that the bowls of the game of alliances are stopped, because elsewhere, however, they vote in close tour and the movements are already in progress and cannot fail to be looked at with interest even on the shore at the Strait. Where in the meantime there are those who try to imagine future scenarios, not excluding some surprising ones.
The “dossier” of the closest elections outside the borders of the island was entrusted by Cateno De Luca to Laura Castelli, the southern president called Nord (which in the meantime also holds a substantial assignment of consultant to the metropolitan city). Two already certain agreements. The first provides for the support of South called Nord to the center -right candidate in the Marche, Francesco Acquaroli. The other – and is what, not only for geographical reasons, is looked at with more interest by Messina and Sicily – contemplates full support to Roberto Occhiuto in Calabria, in the electoral round of October. The strong man of Forza Italia in the South, companion of the Undersecretary Matilde Siracusano whose bag of relations with De Luca, over the years, has recorded significant ups and downs.
