“When we have someone close to us in us, who encourages us, who opens the doors to demonstrate what we value and therefore, our skills, skills, talents, potential and not the limits, then we really demonstrate how much we value and this is the greatest heritage that our country, our Calabria and the territory of Locride has”. These are the words of the minister for disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli, who intervened on Tuesday evening at the meeting with the sunflowers of the Locride Special Olympics, a consolidated associative reality in Locride in promoting the rights of people with disabilities. The event – in which several associations, civil and military authorities took part – was organized by the Association of Municipalities of Locride and the sunflowers of the Locride Special Olympics, testifying to the attention of local institutions on the subject of the rights of people with disabilities, a moment of comparison, in order to collect the requests and reflections from the territory.
