The lies of Sara Genovese. The 25-year-old from Pellaro, a hamlet on the southern outskirts of Reggio, lied to everyone and did it all on her own. She was arrested (under house arrest with the use of an electronic bracelet) because she was accused of murder by suffocation of her two newly born children, of concealing their bodies and of killing a corpse in relation to a third child she gave birth to three years ago.
She acted independently and without the knowledge of her family and closest friends, also unaware of her pregnancy. The only person who knew that Sara was pregnant was her boyfriend Annunziato Nucera, 31 years old: reported at large, he is charged with aiding and abetting.
