Inps, with circular 123 of 5 September 2025, integrates and modifies the previous instructions provided with n. 60 of 20 March 2025, clarifying the scope of the contribution and introducing important news starting from 1 January 2026.
Extension of the contribution
The kindergarten contribution no longer concerns only the frequency of authorized public and private nursery schools, but is also extended to:
• Nests and micronids, which welcome girls/s between three and thirty -six months of age and contribute with families to their care, education and socialization, promoting their well -being and development of identity, autonomy and skills.
• Spring sections, which welcome girls/s between twenty -four and thirty -six months of age and favor the continuity of the educational path from zero to six years of age.
• supplementary services enabled such as playing spaces and educational services in home context, in compliance with regional regulations.
Instead, the expenses relating to centers for children and families and services not attributable to education for early childhood are excluded from the benefit (for example recreational, pre-school or post-school services).
Ultractivity of questions
As of January 1, 2026, the applications submitted and accepted will also produce effects for the following years, until the month of August of the year in which the child turns three, after verifying the requirements and booking of the monthly features.
For the nursery contribution it will be necessary to attach the payment documentation of at least one straight line; For public kindergartens with postponed payment, registration or insertion in the ranking will be sufficient. While, for the contribution to support at the home, an attestation of the pediatrician will be required that certifies the impossibility of the frequency for serious chronic pathologies.
