He died in Cosenza, at the age of 80, Santi Trimboli, former Rai Tgr Calabria journalist. DeputyoderDactor in the regional editorial staff, for years he was the face of the news and the 90th minute program, following the main events in Calabria, including institutional visits of presidents of the Republic as Giorgio Napolitano.

Professional since 1973, he had started at the Corriere del Day of Taranto and subsequently collaborated with the Gazzetta del Sud of Messina. He was a progenitor to the newspaper of Calabria, press officer of the Figc Calabria, collaborator of La Stampa and correspondent of the Corriere dello Sport.

For 25 years he worked in the Rai headquarters of Calabria, also contributing to national broadcasts: from all football minute by minute with the connections from Catanzaro, Cosenza and Crotone, to Sprint Stadium, 90th minute and the Sports Sunday, following the nine Reggina championships in Serie A.

In 2014 he taught “communication ethics” and “mass media system” in the Master in Tourism Management at the University of Calabria. During the career he received numerous awards for his journalistic activity.
