A 66 -year -old man, Messina, accused of brutally attacked his former partner during a clarifying meeting, ended up under house arrest with the electronic bracelet. The episode dates back to 31 May, but only today was the precautionary measure issued by the judge for the preliminary investigations of the Court of Messina, at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
According to what was reconstructed by the investigators of the mobile team, The woman had agreed to meet the former partner for one last time, who had never resigned himself at the end of the report. However, the meeting turned into a nightmare: the man, in the face of the woman’s refusal to return to her steps, would have it Attacked with kicks and punches, hitting it repeatedly until they lose their senses. Once resumed, the victim managed with lucidity to convince the attacker to leave. Only then did he be able to ask for help from trusted people and receive the first care. Admitted to the hospital, a head injury and the fracture of four ribs were diagnosed, with a prognosis of thirty days.
The investigations, conducted quickly by the State Police with the constant coordination of the Public Prosecutor of Messina – led by Dr. Antonio D’Amato – led to the identification of the manager and the collection of serious clues against him.
