Gian Piero Gasperini has blocked the deal for Koné at Chelsea. This morning the English club had put on the table an offer of 60 million (including bonuses) for the Giallorossi midfielder, also including Gittens’ arrival in the capital on loan. Gasperini’s defense was dry and he had already said yesterday after the match against Lecce: «Koné isn’t going anywhere». The transfer market will close this evening at 8pm and the Giallorossi are trying to keep the Gittens track alive by separating it from that of Koné which seems destined to remain in Trigoria. Gasperini also threatened to resign in the event of Koné’s sale.
