The Lamezzo international airport still scores a “plus” sign, confirming its strategic centrality in the infrastructural and tourism scenario of Calabria, as highlighted by the latest official data released by Assaeroporti relating to the month of April 2026. Despite a decline in the number of movements, which stand at 1,855 with a negative variation of 2.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, the Lamezo airport demonstrates “resilience” in terms of passenger flows. In fact, there was an increase in passenger traffic, which reached the figure of 264,621 units, marking a +14.1% compared to last year. This data indicates an improvement in aircraft occupancy rates and a growing attractiveness of the Calabria destination, increasingly chosen by national and international travellers.
