Development and tourism are trying to join hands in the near future of the city. At least Mayor Mario Murone continues to confirm this by enthusiastically commenting on the latest positive data on Sacal airport traffic: with more than 426 thousand travellers, of which almost half from abroad, who passed through the Lamezzo international airport, we can speak of a real “boom” for the month of July just ended. Consistent flows, in particular, from Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the United Kingdom. A confirmation, in short, for what still stands as the first port of call in the region and which has recently also found a Board of Directors, with the president Luciano Vigna and also a representative of the municipality of Lamezia, the entrepreneur Angelo Ferraro.
