Luciano Ligabue returns with a new single and the grand finale of the Certe Notti tour, which started at the end of September from the Arena di Verona and will end on 24 October at the Arena Milano, Ligabue’s last live date for 2026. The live shows are part of the celebrations for the thirtieth anniversary of “Certe notti” and the album “Buon Compleanno Elvis”, which in 1995 marked one of the most important moments of Liga’s career, and the twentieth anniversary of the first Campovolo.

After the success of the dates in Europe in May and the first concerts in Italian stadiums in June, the finale of the tour reserves several unique events in the various stages, which will not include repeats to make each “night” special and unrepeatable. A big party that is about to arrive in Sicily too with the next stop scheduled at the Pala Rescifina in Messina on Wednesday 14 October. The show will be created by Puntoeacapo Srl in collaboration with “Il Botteghino” and the Municipality of Messina.

“Luciano Ligabue’s concert – declared the mayor Federico Basile – represents a further result of the planning work that we are carrying out to make Messina increasingly attractive for large productions. The city is chosen today because it offers organisation, structures and a clear vision of events of national appeal”.

Accompanying Luciano Ligabue on stage will be all the guitarists who have played with him throughout his career, Fede Poggipollini (guitar), Max Cottafavi (guitar), Mel Previte (guitar) and Niccolò Bossini (guitar), together with Luciano Luisi (keyboards), Davide Pezzin (bass) and Lenny Ligabue (drums).

Traffic measures

The Municipality of Messina – Urban Mobility Department, on the occasion of the Ligabue concert, scheduled for Wednesday 14 October at 9pm at the PalaRescifina, has arranged changes to the road system to allow the event to take place smoothly and to guarantee safety during the inflow and outflow phases of the public. The measures will be in force from 4.30pm on 14 October to 3am on 15 October and, where applicable, in any case until the needs cease.

Parking and transit bans

In via degli Agrumi (embankment road), in the stretch between via Sacra Famiglia and the “yellow car park”, a parking ban will be established with forced removal on both sides and a ban on vehicular transit in the sea-mountain direction. Access will be regulated by the Municipal Police, with special barriers at the intersection with Via Sacra Famiglia. In the same stretch, in the mountain-sea direction, vehicular transit will be prohibited at the access gate to the “Yellow car park”, upstream from the PalaRescifina. Barriers will be placed and safeguards will be set up by the organisation. The passage of authorized vehicles will be allowed. In via Sacra Famiglia, in the stretch between via degli Agrumi and via 1 A, a parking ban will be established with forced removal on both sides, to allow the transit of ATM buses. From 6.30pm on 14 October to 3am on 15 October, and in any case until the needs cease, vehicular transit will also be prohibited on the road connecting the San Filippo Superiore municipal road – Baglio district and the “Green car park” of the “Franco Scoglio” stadium. The closure will be implemented through barriers and safeguards at the care and expense of the organizing company.

Access route to the PalaRescifina car parks

To reach the parking areas belonging to the PalaRescifina, mopeds, motorcycles, spectators’ cars and organization vehicles with the appropriate permit must follow the following itinerary: via A. Celi – via N. Carosio (access road to the motorway junction) – perimeter road of the “Franco Scoglio” stadium – via degli Agrumi (embankment road), north side. Along Via degli Agrumi, in the stretch between Via Sacra Famiglia and the access gate to the “Yellow Parking”, a longitudinal barrier will be placed to separate the pedestrian path, on the south side of the road, from the lane on the north side, intended for the transit of authorized vehicles and vehicles heading to the PalaRescifina parking areas.

Where to park

For spectators who reach the concert by car, parking will be permitted, until all available spaces are available, in the “yellow” parking areas of the “Franco Scoglio” stadium and in the parking areas belonging to the PalaRescifina, according to the access methods provided. Mopeds, motorcycles and organization vehicles equipped with a special permit issued by the organization itself will also be able to park in the PalaRescifina parking areas. Spectators’ vehicles will be able to access the areas reserved for them with the appropriate mark, where applicable.

Parking for buses coming from outside Messina

Buses coming from locations outside the municipal territory will be destined to stop on the stretch of Via degli Agrumi near the Press Tribune. Once the available seats have been exhausted, the stalls in the “guest” parking area (green area) of the “Franco Scoglio” stadium can be used.

Spectators are invited to plan their journeys in advance, to respect the temporary signs and the instructions of the personnel in charge and to use the assigned routes and parking areas, in order to facilitate circulation and reach the facility in safe conditions.
