Applications will open on September 15th at 12pm for the fifth ASMEL Maxi Notice, published on the national recruitment portal InPA, for the training and updating of 39 lists of those eligible for hiring in local authorities throughout Italy.
Until 30 September 2026, graduates, diploma holders and specialized workers will be able to submit the application to apply for one or more professional profiles among those provided for in the Maxi Notice, provided they meet the requirements set out in the announcement. In this way it will be possible to access, once eligible, fixed-term and permanent job opportunities in the over 1,000 organizations participating in the procedure.
The selection includes, for each profile, a remote pre-selection test consisting of 60 multiple choice questions. Those who pass it are included in the relevant List of Suitable Persons for three years and can participate in the questions published by the Bodies, choosing from time to time the opportunities of interest based on the territory and the type of contract proposed.
Candidates suitable for multiple profiles will be able to access the questions relating to each List. Eligibility remains valid until the end of the three-year period or until permanent employment by one of the bodies signing the agreement.
The procedure, provided for by article 3-bis of legislative decree no. 80/2021, allows Local Authorities to manage unique selections in aggregate form and to conclude hiring on average in four or five weeks. For candidates it represents a simpler and more flexible way of accessing the local Public Administration, thanks to remote pre-selection and the possibility of choosing the questions of actual interest.
The procedure, valid at national level, has already led to over 1,700 hires and is used by more than 1,000 organizations throughout Italy. The Maxi Notice 2026 also includes two profiles introduced on the basis of the needs expressed by the Municipalities: Official expert in European, national and regional financing and Official expert in public contracts.
ASMEL is the Association for Subsidiarity and Modernization of Local Authorities and brings together over 4,900 Italian local administrations. As part of the aggregate agreement envisaged by the legislation, it supports the entities in the associated management of the Eligible Lists procedure.
