The administrative checks of the State Police continues at accommodation and public places to protect the citizen and in compliance with current legislation.
In Sant’Agata di Militello and in her hinterland the controls, implemented in the summer season at the activities most affected by tourist flows and night nightlife, have involved the policemen of the local public security police station. Particular attention was paid to commercial establishments where the administration of food and drinks is envisaged. The checks, carried out with the help of technicians of the Sian of the Asp of Messina, led to the closure of an activity for serious irregularities that did not allow compliance with the minimum requirements on hygiene-health matters. Committed administrative penalties for 5,000 euros.
At a second activity, recently opening, although the minimum requirements on hygiene-sanitary matters, the ASP technicians contested some irregularities and imposed requirements to which the owner was invited to conform within 7 days. The subsequent verification of the owner by the owner entailed the application of administrative pecuniary sanctions for a total amount of 9,000 euros.
Agents of the Administrative Police Section of the Commissariat of Sant’Agata di Militello also submitted the premises of the Santagatese nightlife. In one of them, the presence of an irregular control services was verified, as they are not registered in the appropriate prefective register: therefore the sanctions were taken both for the dealer and the owner of the year for a total of 3,332 euros.
Finally, the administrative checks also affected the owners of leased properties. In 15 cases, investigations relating to the concession in use of premises to non -EU citizens have been carried out which provides for communication within 48 hours of the public security authority. Otherwise, a penalty from 500 to 3,500 euros is provided.
