At Montmeló Marc Marquez hits the eighth consecutive sprint victory and gives Ducati the seventh builders, the sixth in a row, absolute record in MotoGP. The Spaniard took advantage of the fall of his brother Alex, on the run with a good margin four laps from the end.

On the podium also Fabio Quartararo, author of a brilliant test with the Yamaha, and Fabio Di Giannantonio with the Ducati VR46. In the world ranking Marquez rises to 467 points, with a consistent advantage over Alex and Bagnaia, so much so that the ninth world title could already arrive in Misano.

Day to be forgotten for the Ducati-Gresini team, with the falls of Fermanin Alduguer and Marco Bezzecchi, the latter fortunately without fractures. Still difficulty for Francesco Bagnaia, only 14th after a negative qualification and far from the top struggle.
