A letter with a threatening content was delivered to the Town Hall of Paludi, addressed to the father of Vittoria Baldino, deputy of the 5 Star Movement and mayor of the small center of the Hinterland of Corigliano Rossano. The message, containing the writing «Vittoria has fun with the annuities? He will no longer have fun “, was reported yesterday to the carabinieri of the territorial department of Corigliano Rossano, to whom the parliamentarian filed a complaint, colliding with the lieutenant colonel Marco Filippi.
The letter was written in such a way as to make the spelling unrecognizable, while the envelope has more attributable features to a “human” hand, a detail that could prove useful to investigations.
The president of the Calabria Region also intervened on the incident, Roberto Occhiuto, who publicly expressed his proximity: “Solidarity with Vittoria Baldino and his family for the vile and ignoble shine letter received. Any form of intimidation and hatred must be rejected firmly. Democracy lives on confrontation, never threats,” he said.
