Following a specific and targeted service organized to protect free competition and public health, the local police of Reggio Calabria, in collaboration with the Asp food hygiene service, has seized 4 quintals of fruit and vegetables located on sale on a public area.
The two precautionary measures, respectively for an amount of 250 and 150 kg of (fruit and vegetables) were taken by as many sellers respectively due to lack of product traceability certificate and lack of authorization title.
A part of the perishable goods, considered suitable for human consumption, has been donated to charity to a non -profit organization.
