Guarantee equal dignity and equal treatment to all Calabrian students, overcoming the discrimination that penalizes the talents of higher artistic, musical and dance education (Afam). With this objective, the regional councilor Francesco De Cicco, group leader of the Southern Progressive Democrats, presented a motion addressed to the president of the regional council.
At the center of the initiative is Council Resolution no. 141 of 9 April 2026, which approved and financed the call for the “Merit Income” for the academic year 2026/2027 with a budget of 15 million euros.
