The investigation, conducted between February and December 2023, documented the activity of a criminal partnership that managed a drug dealing square in the village Aldisio, active all day and frequented by buyers from the city and province.
The suspects, already known to the police, used railings, armored doors and video surveillance systems to protect drugs and homes. The diffusion of the crack is particularly alarming, a highly dangerous substance capable of generating strong dependence.
According to investigators, the illegal activity yielded about 100,000 euros per month, with peaks of 100 daily transfers. During the investigation, 2 subjects were arrested in the act, 7 people reported and reported to the Prefecture 91 Assunatori, while over 100 the seizures of crack and marijuana sent to the laboratories of the Ris of Messina. Two of the arrested were transferred to the Messina Gazzi prison, the third at home.
