Antonio Caselli is the new vice president of Akademia Sant’Anna: the founder and creator of the Formula 3 Group – a family business started forty-five years ago and in which sacrifices and successes still constitute an identifying bond today – after having acquired a share during the club’s first historic season in Serie A with the role of general manager, he will now share the new role with Dr. Pepper Venuti.
Caselli recalls with particular emotion the path taken in the many years of life: “So much dedication behind what has been built. Little by little, also thanks to the inclusion of my children, today we are considered leaders in the sector. The results come thanks to the commitment we put in, but it must also be said thanks to the products we deal with and represent, BMW and Mercedes, two of the three most prestigious brands on the continent”. “Doing business in 2024 – Caselli continues – is very different from the past, also requiring a necessary adaptation over time, also because in forty-five years the conditions have changed a lot, both economically and on an organizational level; change will be inevitable also in the future. What will remain unchanged will be the passion to always put into it; sooner or later, it will give satisfaction”.
Precisely that passion that he shares with the sons, Giacomo and Giovannialso towards volleyball and Akademia of which they are managers. Convinced by the project of the president Costantino, all together they decided to take over a share of the club a few years ago: “I will never stop thanking Fabrizio Costantino and his seriousness. I have married a project that I would have liked to carry forward, in the past, myself. The opportunity to develop it came at the right time with Akademia Sant’Anna. My children got involved, embracing this project too”.
Last year particularly excited in the victories, suffering in the defeats but always preaching optimism: “We didn’t expect the results that then arrived. Semi-finals of the Italian Cup and Play-Off promotion really great stuff”.
