The carabinieri of the Archbishopric station arrested, in the act of crime, a 23 -year -old Moroccan citizen, already known to the police, held responsible for aggravated theft in the home. The intervention took place following a report that reached 112 for a theft in an apartment in the city center. Shortly thereafter, the military identified the young man as he wandered with suspicious attitude in the Camaro area, proceeding to his arrest.
The victim’s statements were determined for the identification of the 23 -year -old and the images extrapolated from the surveillance cameras installed inside the home, which allowed to reconstruct the dynamic and trace the author of the crime. Accompanied in the barracks, the man – without documents – would have provided false generality to the military. For this reason, in addition to the arrest for aggravated theft, it was also reported also for false declarations made to public officials. The 23 -year -old was locked up in the Messina Gazzi prison, available to the judicial authority.
