As part of the activity of removing the disused newsstands, carried out by the Municipal Administrator, the Fifth district has put forward a specific proposal regarding the portion of the sidewalk where the old newsstand in Viale della Libertà is located, in front of the landing stages, deciding on the redevelopment of the open space at the foot of the historic Ringo staircase which leads to Via Principessa Mafalda above. Furthermore, next to the open space to be redeveloped is the Student House, a structure undergoing renovation. The proposal bears the signature of councilor Beatrice Belfiore and was unanimously accepted by the neighborhood council. The project involves the installation of benches, planters and other furnishing elements that can make the entire area more welcoming and functional.
