Was signed this morning at the Chamber Palace The memorandum of understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and the ITS Academy of Cataniain order to encourage opportunities for information, development and incentive to employment in the sector of sustainable mobility and in transport.
“Higher technological institutes allow to develop their talent with a view to a more innovative future – says the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Ivo Blandina – specifically, the ITS Academy of Catania gives the possibility to achieve the high school diploma, with consequent access to the world of work in the context of modern sectors, such as those of transport and sustainable mobility, which identify solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact, encouraging the use of more ecological means and improving the efficiency of transport systems. An opportunity for our young people, but also for our companies, who can thus open up to new markets ».

This protocol represents, in fact, another fundamental step for the future of our young people and for the development of the Messina economic fabric. The synergy between the Chamber of Commerce and the ITS Academy of Catania is the demonstration that, working together, high quality training courses can be offered, aligned with the needs of the labor market and, also, capable of interpreting and enhancing the vocations of our territory. They also allow our young people to face the challenges of sectors in constant evolution such as sustainable mobility, thus creating new and concrete use opportunities ».
To sign the protocol for the ITS Academy of Catania, was the vice -president Tiziano minutes: «In Italy, the connections between the world of training and the system of companies have traditionally been entrusted to sensitivity of specific and particular situations. The ITS represent, on the other hand, a virtuous intertwining between these two areas, thanks to a shared governance, which produces dense programs of concreteness with almost certain employment opportunities. The partnership between the ITS of Catania and the Chamber of Commerce is a further step towards increasingly constructive synergies ».
