Messina’s negative moment continues, also defeated by Nissa and bringing their winless streak to five. Mister Feola’s starting lineup leaves some doubts and the performance on the pitch shows a team without bite. The Giallorossi try in the 12th minute with an unsuccessful lob from Zerbo, while then only the guests can be seen, who strike in the 16th minute with an excellent through ball from Rotulo who puts Terranova in front of Giardino and makes no mistake. Messina is struggling, the maneuver is too slow to worry a quality team like Nissa, who are still dangerous with Alagna.
In the second half, with the introduction of Pedicone and, above all, Tedesco up front, the Giallorossi coach tries to give more weight up front, but the flow of the match doesn’t change. Messina doesn’t sting, Nissa comes close to doubling their lead with Palermo (low shot deflected into the corner), Sarao (excellent save by Gardino) and with the former Kragl, who hits the post. Messina relies on the final forcing, but the only real conclusion is a header from Roseti which hits the post. Too little for a team that has never had a shot on target and which has now slipped to penultimate position, which would mean direct relegation.
