Two roads remained at Messina to settle doubts about their sports present and finally kick off the imminent new season. A gong that is about to play inexorably: the debut in the Italian Cup is set for August 24 against Vigor Lamezia, while the Serie D championship will start in the exact month.
The first way is the one that leads to the group led by the Economic operator from Messina Giuseppe Peditto, who returned to the race after the apparent black smoke of the last weekend. The second once again leads to Aad Invest Group and Pietro Sciotto, with each speech on the passage of hand postponed to after the approval of the concordat plan.
The Court asked the Peditto group further checks, with the aim of clarifying some formal and financial aspects related to the agreement with Messina. Among the required documents include a historical view of the company designated for the future management of the club, contractual changes and clarifications on the economic guarantees presented. The potential buyers hope for a quick response to then start the work on the technical front, but the procedure remains delicate and articulated: before the definitive green light, three positive pronouncements will be needed, by the judicial commissioner Maria di Renzo, of an accounting expert in charge of the court and finally of the bankruptcy section, which will have to meet in collegial composition. In addition to the validity of the contract, the magistrates will also have to evaluate the economic estate of the subject indicated by Peditto, a company with limited capital, a circumstance that could make it necessary to provide further guarantees. In short, there is still a way to go and little time available.
In the meantime, the expiry of the return plan is approaching: the current property will have to deposit it by the beginning of next week (10 August). A crucial passage to avoid the judicial liquidation procedure and finally start building the future of the club after the removal of the remaining slopes. Was so easy.
