The clothes of the statues of the Assumption and of Jesus were made respectively by the ladies Rosa Randazzo and Santina Italianointervened at the meeting with the press, together with Father Antonello Angemichaplain of the Vara procession.
“After the restoration of the structural part and the characters, which began years ago, – explained the commissioner Caruso – takes place today, in agreement with the historical group of the Vara and the Giants, another significant moment related to the restyling of the clothes of the Vara. Father Angemi thanked, together with the commissioner Caruso, the ladies Randazzo and Italian, who “spent their precious time in the realization of two clothes, which represent with white the purity of Mary, with red and black instead the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ”.
