The stretch of via Maddalena that crosses Viale San Martino was reopened to traffic one month after the closure. As part of the works for the remake of the tramway, the intersection was paved with the same lava stone used in the first stretch of the avenue. Same effect of the pedestrian island but in via Maddalena we will continue to travel by car from mountain to the valley. This is the second step of the works started at Easter and which will have to lead to the replacement of the asphalt up to Viale Europa by 2026.
