Once the clear electoral victory has been archived, the most politically delicate post-vote match has already begun in Milazzo: that relating to the composition of the new municipal council. Mayor Pippo Midili, thanks to the 58.8 percent obtained, after having thanked the citizens for the great trust shown, has already started a series of political discussions with the lists and parties that supported his coalition. A complex job, destined to inevitably intertwine with the balances that emerged from the polls.

Formula that inevitably rewards the political forces that have obtained the greatest consensus and which could guide the final choices of the mayor. Driving the majority were above all Città Futura, Forza Italia and Fratelli d’Italia, all capable of obtaining four councilors each. Numbers that inevitably strengthen the requests for representation within the Executive. Three councilors for “Cambiamente per Milazzo” and “Milazzo 2026”, while “Prima Milazzo-Noi Moderati” stopped at two elected. Midili would therefore be evaluating a solution capable of bringing together electoral weight, technical skills and the political stability of the majority.
